LISANDRO LOPEZ

Born on March 2, 1983 in Buenos Aires ( 27 years old)

Club: Olympique Lyonnais
Position: Striker, Winger (secondary)

Career: Lisandro started his career in Argentina playing for RACING CLUB de AVELLANEDA. He scored 26 goals in 70 appearances for Racing.  He eventually transfered to FC PORTO for a transfer fee 2.35 million euro. In 2007-08 Lisandro led the Portugese league in scoring, netting 24 goals in 27 games.  Lisandro again transfered on the 7th of July 2009 to Olympic Lyonnais shorty after they sold Karim Benzema for a fee of 24 million Euro. Early that year, he scored a hat trick in the first half at Anderlectht to help them qualify for the Champions League. In 48 appearances for Lyonnais, he has scored 23 goals and is consistently playing for the first squad.  He was named Ligue 1 Footballer of the year in 2009-210
Lisandro also has received 7 international caps for Argentina scoring 1 goal.
